Rochester Lourdes closed the girls soccer regular season with a 2-0 loss to visiting Totino-Grace on Saturday at the Rochester Regional Sports Stadium.

Totino-Grace, the No. 8 ranked team in Class A, scored a goal in each half and dealt Lourdes (8-7-1) its third straight defeat.

"It was a tough way to end a tough week, but we were in the game for two halves, we just lost," said Lourdes head coach Sarah Groven.

"I was happy with the play from defender Clare Buntrock and our goalkeeper, Rebecca Freiburger was also solid for us," Groven added. "We have a few things to fine tune before section play on Tuesday night."

Lourdes is the No. 4 seed and opens against No. 13 Winona (0-14-2) at 7 p.m. Tuesday at RRSS.
