MINNEAPOLIS — Kyle Rau scored his 50th career goal as the University of Minnesota picked up its first official sweep of the season on Saturday night in a 5-3 win over Bemidji State at Mariucci Arena.
Rau was one of four Gophers to tally multiple points in the win, adding an assist while Travis Boyd and Justin Kloos each pocketed a goal and an assist and Mike Reilly picked up two assists.
Minnesota (4-0-0 overall, 0-0-0-0 Big Ten) remains undefeated on the season, and Adam Wilcox moved to 4-0-0 with 19 saves.
Gophers women sweep
MINNEAPOLIS — The No. 1 Minnesota women's hockey team capped a weekend sweep against WCHA rival North Dakota with a 5-0 win Saturday at Ridder Arena.

The Gophers outshot UND 51-7 while improving their record to 7-0-1, including 5-0-1-0 in conference play.
Junior Hannah Brandt led the way for Minnesota, racking up a season-best five points on two goals and three assists.
