BEMIDJI — Minnesota fell for the second time this season, dropping a 2-1 decision to Bemidji State on Saturday in women's hockey.
The second-ranked Gophers fell to 8-2-0 overall, and 6-2-0 in the WCHA. The Beavers are 6-2-2 and 3-2-1.
After a scoreless first period, Bemidji State took the lead on a Rachael Kelly goal 5 1/2 minutes into the second frame.
The Beavers got their second goal with about five minutes left in the frame when Sadie Lundquist scored off a Kristin Huber assist.
