More than 600 basketball players will take to outdoor courts near the Rochester YMCA to compete in the Gus Macker 3-on-3 tournament this weekend.
This marks the second straight year of the event in Rochester and about 150 teams are registered to play on 16 courts. The tournament is for youths and adults with divisions ranging from under 10 years old to over 32 years old.
A lot of current and former college players are expected to compete.
"And we're going to have some of the top women players in the Midwest," tournament director Steve Courts said.
Courts said the Rochester YMCA has the ability to hold a tournament that features 20 courts and up to 225 teams.

The top-level women's championship game is slated for 11:30 a.m. on Sunday with the men's title game at 2:30 p.m.
A slam dunk contest will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
