MINNEAPOLIS — Sela Fadness led Austin once again as the Packers landed fourth Friday in the state Class A team gymnastics meet at the University of Minnesota.
The Packers finished with a score of 148.300. Melrose was first at 149.575, followed by defending state champion New Prague (149.050) and Detroit Lakes (148.450).
Austin was third at state a year ago.
Fadness hit a 9.650 in the vault, a 9.650 on the uneven parallel bars and a 9.700 in floor exercise. Maddie Mullenbach paced Austin in the balance beam (9.450).
Melrose was state runner-up a year ago.
