MINNEAPOLIS — Rochester Century eighth-grader Andi Jacobs finished 15th in the all-around competition at the Class AA State Gymnastics Meet on Saturday night at the University of Minnesota Sports Pavilion.
Jacobs, appearing in her first state tournament, scored 36.90 points total in all four events combined.
Jacobs placed 16th on the uneven bars with 9.20, and 20th on the vault with 9.4125. She scored 8.90 on the balance beam, and 9.40 on the floor exercise.
Minneapolis North senior Julia Stedman won the all-around with 38.40 points, edging Eden Prairie senior Mackenzie Dent with 38.275.
Other top finishers from Section 1AA were Northfield senior Sveta Mason, fifth all-around, and Northfield senior Meaghan Howell, 10th all-around.
