High school football | Caledonia 46, Pine Island 14

CALEDONIA — Owen King completed 13 of 22 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns, and Sam Stemper had eight carries for 52 yards and two scores as Caledonia dominated Pine Island 46-14. Caledonia led 46-0 after three quarters.

Pine Island struggled to move the ball all night, rushing 34 times for just 40 yards and completing six passes for 42 yards.

The Warriors, on the other hand, piled up 443 yards of offense. Mitchell Schmitz led the way on the ground with nine carries for 111 yards and a touchdown. Tanner Gran had six receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown.

Caledonia (3-0) is at Triton next week, while Pine Island (1-2) hosts Chatfield.
