Pat Leary made a successful return from injury on Thursday, and the Rochester Eagles beat Owatonna 9-5 in American Legion baseball.

Leary, who has been out since the beginning of the Legion season, was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.

"It's great to have Pat back in the lineup," Eagles coach Troy Jurgenson said. "He makes our team stronger both offensively and defensively."

Ben Limburg, Brady Kraling, Hayden Brown and Dahlton Krahn each had two hits for the Eagles. Limburg was the starting pitcher, with Matthew Hayford working the final 2 1/3 innings for the save.
