Monday was Senior Night for the Lourdes girls basketball team, and the honorees gave their friends and families plenty of good memories as the fifth-ranked Eagles cruised to a 75-49 win over Kenyon-Wanamingo.
Lourdes has six seniors on its roster, and they all contributed to the victory. Anna Braun scored eight points and hit two 3-pointers; Catherine Patel scored five points; Margaret Rogers scored six points on two 3-pointers; Grace Hobday scored seven points; Lauren Nickels scored four points; and Jordyn Berg scored two points.
"The seniors really did a nice job of setting the tone early and starting us off strong tonight," said head coach Aaron Berg. "These girls have been playing together since fourth grade, and it was fun to see them all on the floor at the same time."
Alyssa Ustby led the Eagles with 18 points.
Lourdes improves to 16-6 overall, 10-1 in the HVL.
