Rochester Century's cross country teams have been building toward this point of the year.

The Panthers look well prepared for the postseason.

Century's boys placed all five of their scoring runners in the top 10, while Century's girls placed all of their scorers in the top 11 on Tuesday and, for a second consecutive season, the Panthers ran away with both team championships at the Rochester All-City Invitational, held on their home course.

The individual titles belonged to runners from other Rochester schools, though.

John Marshall senior Meti Omod won the boys race by nearly 18 seconds, finishing in 16:45.5, while runner-up Seth Hill of Century finished in 17:04.3.

Lourdes' Lauryn Renier, who did not run in the meet last year, but went on to qualify for the Class A state meet, won the girls individual title on Tuesday, finishing in 19:45.1. Renier finished nearly 16 seconds ahead of runner-up Kennedy Speer of Century (20:01.4).

Century's girls won the team title, with 30 points, by having five runners in the top 11. Speer placed second, followed by Ava Nuttall in third (20:07.9), Morgan Morey in sixth, Gracie Shannon in eighth and Kylie Wees in 11th.

Renier led the runner-up Eagles by winning the race, while teammate Meg Degen placed fifth (20:44.2) and Mariah Brooks made the top 10.

Mayo finished third, with Arely Jaime-Luevano leading the way for the Spartans. She finsihed fourth (20:33.3), while Hadley Jensen also placed in the top 10, finishing ninth.

Greta Freed led JM with a seventh-place finish (21:05.8) and Winona Morgan led Schaeffer Academy, in 44th place.

Hill (second), Jason Dong (sixth), Carter Poncelet (seventh), Silas Green (ninth) and Eric Welch (10th) helped Century win the boys title by 14 points over runner-up Mayo.

The Spartans had three top-10 finishers, as Lance Pfrimmer was third, William Roden fourth and Bryce Baker eighth.

JM finished just five points behind Mayo, led by Omod's individual championship. JM's Stephen Akin also ran a strong race, placing 11th.

Lourdes was led by fifth-place finisher Kevin Turlington, and Isaiah Lahr placed 42nd to lead Schaeffer Academy.
