BEST PERFORMANCES

VOLLEYBALL

• Jaidyn Brower had 32 assists and 11 digs in Stewartville’s 3-0 win over Goodhue.

• Plainview-Elgin-Millville outlansted Chatfield 3-1 as Abby Hinrichs contributed 35 assists and three ace serves. Alyx Doughty had 15 kills and three blocks and Teagan Hansen had 11 kills and three digs.

Hannah LaBonte led the way with 17 kills and a pair of blocks in Lake City's 3-0 win over Lourdes. Elyse Dalager had 17 assists and Morgan West 15 digs.

• Spring Grove swept Schaeffer Academy 3-0 in a Southeast Conference volleyball match. Addyson McHugh led Spring Grove with 13 kills.

• No. 2-ranked Kenyon-Wanamingo won a tight three-set match against HVL rival Zumbrota-Mazeppa 25-18, 25-18, 27-25. Julianna Boyum had 13 kills, 6 digs and 5 blocks for K-W, while Ally Peterson added 10 kills, 7 digs and 3 blocks.

Lydia Lange had a big match for Caledonia as it beat Dover-Eyota 3-0. Lange had 10 kills and 18 digs for the Warriors, who improved to 7-2.

Cierra McNally had 15 kills and Myia Ruzek had 11 for Lewiston-Altura in a 3-1 win at Rushford-Peterson. Kaleah Davis led R-P with 11 kills.

• St. Charles swept Southland 3-0 in a Three Rivers Conference match. The Saints were led by Lindsey Root, who had 15 kills, 11 digs and 1 ace. Ashley Paul added 31 assists and Triniti Gbala had 12 kills, 8 digs and 2 blocks.

• Wabasha-Kellogg's Morgan LaVigne recorded 17 kills in a hard-fought win against Winona Cotter. W-K won 26-24, 25-14, 28-30, 25-22.

Maddie Krage and Lauren Mensink had 12 kills each for Fillmore Central in a 3-1 win against La Crescent.

• Jennifer Albrecht and Tessa Peterson had 10 kills each for Houston in a 3-1 Southeast Conference win against LeRoy-Ostrander.

SWIMMING AND DIVING

• Century’s Megan Bauerle won two individual events (100 freestyle, 55.46; 50 freestyle, 25.63) and swam a leg on the Panthers’ winning 200 relay (1:45.35) and 200 medley relay (1:54.08) teams to pace her Century to a 97-87 win over Northfield. Liliann Linden won the 100 backstroke (1:01.22) and the 100 fly (1:01.08) and swam on the Century winning 200 medley team.
