No. 1-ranked Stewartville landed two players on the All-State volleyball first team, with front-line players Kaitlyn Prondzinski and Erin Lamb both making it in Class AA.
The Tigers are playing in the state tournament and advanced to the semifinals on Thursday with a sweep over unranked Annandale at Xcel Energy Center.
Also making the Class AA All-State first team was Kasson-Mantorville outside hitter/middle hitter Emilee Terry. Stewartville setter Jaidyn Brower made the honorable-mention team.
In Class A, Kenyon-Wanamingo’s Julia Boyum (middle hitter) and Ally Peterson (outside hitter) both made first-team All-State. Other first-team selections were Mabel-Canton’s Kenidi McCabe (outside hitter/setter) and Caledonia’s Lydia Lange (middle hitter).
