OREGON, Wis. — The Rochester Grizzlies battled back from two goals down on Friday night, but they couldn't complete the comeback.

The Oregon Tradesmen scored twice in the final 1:22 to pull out a 4-2 North American 3 Hockey League victory against the Grizzlies. The loss is the second in a row for Rochester (9-2-0) after opening the season on a nine-game winning streak.

Oregon, which was swept by the Grizzlies in a two-game series two weeks ago in the first-ever meetings between the teams, scored twice in the first 17 minutes of the second period to go up 2-0.

Rochester's Dylan Schneider got his team on the board with 59 seconds to play in the second with his sixth goal of the season. Another Grizzlies veteran, Matt DeRosa, scored 2:58 into the third period — his fourth goal of the season — to tie the score.

But the Tradesmen (6-4-0) pushed late in the third and scored 1:22 remaining, a goal by Sam VanderHoeven that held up as the game winner. Brent Edmondson added an empty-net goal with 45 seconds to go.
