The Rochester Grizzlies wasted no time on Friday reminding the Milwaukee Power who the top team in the North American 3 Hockey League Central Division is.

The Grizzlies outshot the Power 21-4 in the first 20 minutes at the Rochester Recreation Center, and outscored the Power 4-0 in the first period en route to a 7-2 victory.

Rochester improves to 24-5-1 overall, and extends its lead in the NA3HL Central to five points over second-place Peoria.

The Grizzlies' balanced offensive attack included seven players who had two-point games, including veterans Joey Fodstad and Hunter Wilmes, both of whom scored two goals. Peyton Hart and Teppei Ueno had a goal and an assist each, while Tyler Huffer, Cody Reagle and Garrett Smith had two assists each.

The Grizzlies outshot the Power 50-29 in the game, and Rochester goalie Zach Wiese made 27 saves to improve to 9-3-0 as a starter this year.

Rochester and Milwaukee (9-23-0) wrap up their weekend home-and-home series with a game at 8:30 p.m. Saturday in Milwaukee.
