La CRESCENT — Rochester Lourdes scored on nearly half of its shots in the first period here Monday, scoring six times in a span of 4 minutes, 3 seconds to quickly pull away from La Crescent-Hokah for a 9-2 win.
Lourdes (6-3-1 overall) led 6-0 after one period and 7-1 after two, outshooting the Lancers 40-21 in the game.
Logan Yehle made 31 saves in the loss for La Crescent-Hokah, while Griffin Becher made 19 saves for Lourdes, which won its second straight game.
Jack Kleinschmidt paced the Eagles with two goals and two assists, giving him a team-leading 24 points this season (12 goals, 12 assists).
Defenseman Charlie Kielty had a goal and two assists and Matt Mahoney scored twice in the win. Brayden Magnuson and Dawson McLaughlin had a goal and an assist each.
Dom Schwirtz and Jackson Heim also scored in the win.
Liam Farrell scored both goals for the Lancers, both assisted by Wyatt Farrell, who leads LaCrescent-Hokah in goals scored (13) and points (17) this season.
The Lancers (4-7-0) play at Dodge County at 7 p.m. Friday, while Lourdes plays at St. Paul Highland Park that night at 7.
