Rochester Century/John Marshall controlled a majority of Thursday’s girls hockey game at Graham Arena in Rochester, but Mankato East rallied for four third-period goals to earn a 4-1 victory.

The Panthers took a 1-0 lead in the second period on a Megan Gamble power-play goal, with an assist from Grace Oyen.

East responded in the third, though, scoring four times in less than 12 minutes.

Kaylee Eyken opened East’s scoring 4:42 into the third, then Jess Eykyn scored the game winner at the 9:17 mark.

Abigail Conners made 39 saves for Century/JM, while Hailey Baker made 22 stops for the Cougars.

VICTORIA — Sky Hughes made 39 saves and Lyndi Schubert scored a first-period goal to give Dodge County an early lead, but No. 16-ranked Holy Family Catholic responded with a goal in the second period and two in the third to earn a 3-1 win.

Hughes made 21 saves in the first period alone for the Wildcats (8-6-0).

Dodge County plays at Hutchinson on Saturday.

ALBERT LEA — Red Wing was outshot 53-19 by Albert Lea in a 4-0 Big Nine Conference loss here Thursday.

The Wingers (3-9-0) received 49 saves from Leigha Kitzmann to hold them in the game.

Lucy Stay had two goals and an assist for the Tigers (9-4-0).
