ABERDEEN, S.D. — The Austin Bruins' depth and talent showed up on Saturday, as six different players scored and the Bruins completed a weekend sweep of rival Aberdeen.

Austin scored the last five goals of Saturday's game to win 6-2 and sweep the two-game North American Hockey League Central Division weekend series at Odde Ice Center.

Austin's Luke Forfar scored first, but Aberdeen answered and the Bruins trailed 2-1 with less than three minutes to go in the first period.

The Bruins had a great response in the final 40 seconds of the first, however. Forfar and Evan Cholak set up a Travis Kothenbeutel goal with 34 seconds to go to tie the score. Bruins veteran Jade Miller then scored the momentum-swinging and game-winning goal, converting a feed from Gilbert Gabor with one second remaining in the period.

The Bruins rolled from there, getting insurance goals from Justin Misiak and Dawson DiPietro in the second period, and from Rochester native Griff Slightam in the third. All six of Austin's goal scorers also had one assist, Cholak had two and AJ Drobot had one.
