Make-up games means Monday will be busy for softball and baseball teams at the Austin fields.
Next week will be filled with games, meets, and matches for area teams as they all try to make up for lost time.
Both the Lyle/Pacelli and Austin High baseball teams will play rescheduled games Monday at the Riverland complex. The Austin Packers play a make-up game against Mankato East at Seltz Field at 5 p.m.
The Austin High softball team has won three straight games and there will be the chance to add to that streak on Monday. The Packers will play a make-up game against the Mankato East Scarlets at the North Todd Park complex at 5 p.m.
Although the baseball game between Lyle/Pacelli and Blooming Prairie was on the schedule for Monday, the site has been moved. There is no electricity yet at Marcusen Park, so the L/P Athletics will play their home game at the Riverland No.2 Field at 6 p.m..

This will be the second home game of the season for the Athletics and it should be a special night as they honor the memory of Joe Lewison. This would've been Lewison's senior season on the diamond and the Athletics will honor their teammate.
Also at the junior college on Monday will be a make-up softball doubleheader between Riverland and St. Cloud Technical College. Fans will have plenty of options to choose from at the Riverland fields.
More changes had to be made due to postponements over the past week. Austin High girls golf will make up its home triangular on May 13 against Rochester Century and Albert Lea.
The Austin boys tennis team had a pair of Big Nine Conference duals called off over the last week. Austin High will now play Owatonna at home May 2 and then, travel to Rochester Century on May 9 for that dual meet.
Previous conference games against Rochester Mayo had also been postponed for the AHS baseball and softball teams.
Austin softball now plays at Rochester against Mayo in a doubleheader on Monday, May 2. The baseball doubleheader between Austin and Mayo has been rescheduled for Friday, May 20 at Seltz Field.
Track and field teams for Austin High had home meets called off in this stretch of bad weather and those meets have not been made up. The boys teams only had a few home dates this season. Both the boys ans girls teams have only had one meet so far this spring season.
