The Rochester A's knocked off Albert Lea 7-6 on Friday night, as they got ready for the American Legion baseball post-season to begin.
The A's scored five runs in the sixth to give them their winning margin. Albert Lea threatened to force extra innings after scoring one run in the bottom of the seventh inning, but couldn't pull it off.
Rayn Maiers went 3-for-3 for the A's with a run and a stolen base. Will Zmolek added two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs.
Luke McKeon got the pitching win. He went 6 1/3, allowing five hits and five runs (just two earned).
The A's are 6-8 in the First District and 13-17 overall.
