Legion Baseball | Patriots sweep Winona

The Rochester Patriots Legion baseball team rolled to a doubleheader sweep over Winona on Tuesday night.

The Patriots won Game 1 11-1 in five innings.

Winona had five errors and just three hits, while the Patriots pumped out 10 hits.

Sammy Broman earned the win on the hill. He went all five, allowing three hits and walking two.

Kaeleb Stangler led the way at the plate, going 2-for-3.

In Game 2, the Patriots scored four in the bottom of the sixth to pull away for a 7-2 win.

Zach Schwieters was the winner on the mound. He struck out 10 and finished with a two-hitter.

At the plate, Broman went 2-for-3.
