The First District American Legion baseball tournament has been moved back a day, with expected rainy weather Thursday in mind.
In the winners bracket, the third-seeded Rochester A's take on No. 2 seed Owatonna at 4 p.m. Friday and the top-seeded Rochester Patriots play No. 5 seed Winona at 7 p.m.
All tournament games are being played at Marcusen Park in Austin. It's a double-elimination event, with the winner advancing to the state tournament.
In the losers bracket, the fourth-seeded Rochester Redhawks play No. 8 seed Kasson at 10 a.m. Saturday. No. 6 Austin/Albert Lea plays No. 7 Faribault at 1 p.m. Two losers-bracket games will follow that one, at 4 and 7 p.m.
The winners-bracket semifinals (1 p.m.) and a pair of losers-bracket games (4 and 7 p.m.) are Sunday, with the championship at 1 p.m. Monday. An if-necessary championship game would follow at 4 p.m.
