Rochester Royals vs Elko Baseball

Elko slipped past the Rochester Royals 6-5 on Tuesday night, scoring twice in the eighth inning in the amateur baseball game at Mayo Field.

The Royals got two hits, two runs scored and an RBI from Alex Prindle. Jordan Stokes had a hit and an RBI and Tim Oesterlin had a hit and an RBI.

The Royals totaled eight hits overall. Drew Block doubled and scored a run.

Mitch Brown started the game on the mound for Rochester and allowed no runs over three innings. The Royals used five pitchers overall, with Erik Thorvilson taking the loss.
