Rochester FC notched another win on Wednesday night, romping past Granite City FC 5-0 in United Premier League soccer at Rochester Regional Stadium.

Rochester FC built a 2-0 first-half lead. Igor Aguiar scored the first goal, assisted by Muhiyadin Ali. Josh Balsinger had the second goal, using a Midhat Mujic assist.

Mujic had the first of three second-half goals for Rochester FC, stealing the ball from a Granite City midfielder and then finding the net.

Reserve player Max Kundert had Rochester FC’s last two goals.

“The game went well throughout,” Mujic said. “We played well and had a lot of chances. We have a lot of fast players and our speed on the counter attack was strong and Granite City couldn’t keep up.”
