AUSTIN — The Austin Bruins have found some offense and some confidence.

The Bruins extended their winning streak to three on Saturday night with a 4-3 victory against the Minnesota Wilderness at Riverside Arena.

After struggling to find offense early in the season, the Bruins (9-6-3) have now scored four or more goals in four of their past five games. The one game in which they didn't reach the four-goal mark was a 2-1 win at the Minnesota Magicians on Nov. 1.

Austin is now tied for third place in a jumbled North American Hockey League Central Division. The top five teams are all within five points of one another in the standings.

Saturday, the Bruins received big nights from Ben Almquist (two goals), Carson Riddle (one goal, one assist), Dante Sheriff (three assists) and Josef Mysak (two assists), while Peter Jacobs scored a go-ahead goal with 6:36 to go in regulation.

Goalie Brett Miller made 31 saves to improve to 4-1-1 since returning to Austin in late October.
