Kyler McMahan, Honkers

The Rochester Honkers got off to a decent start on Saturday against the Waterloo Bucks. Waterloo's Trey Leonard homered to lead off the game, but the Honkers responded quickly with a two-run double from Kyler McMahan to take a 2-1 lead after one inning.

Unfortunately for the Honkers, that was the last big hit they would get. Waterloo would go on to collect 14 hits and claimed a 4-2 win as Rochester's bats fell silent.

The Bucks held Rochester to just six hits, and McMahan's double was the Honkers' only extra-base hit of the evening.

Waterloo had two doubles and two homers, including a ninth-inning shot by Bennett Hostetler.

The Honkers are 2-2 in the second half and will host Thunder Bay on Sunday. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m.
