VERMILION NOTES: The team has struggled all season long, having allowed 42, 49 and 42 points in the first three games. The unit is allowing 338 yards a game (214.0 passing, 124.0 rushing). The offense has also had modest success, having topped 20 points just once while averaging 16.0 points a game. The offense is averaging just 208.0 yards a game (150.0 passing, 58.0 rushing). Murphy Theodore has played three games at QB and is just 14-for-41 passing for 156 yards with 2 TDs and 4 interceptions. Goy Majiok has played one game at QB and is 11-for-37 for 144 yards with no TDs and 5 picks. Ty Williams has rushed for 107 yards in two games (4.0 average) with 1 TD. Christopher Bellamy is averaging 15.3 yards on 6 catches with 1 TD while Davion Sanders has averaged 14.0 yards on four catches.
RCTC NOTES: The Yellowjackets have won two straight after dropping their season opener. They average 379.3 yards on offense (256.3 passing, 123.0 rushing) while allowing 303.0 yards on defense (121.3 passing. 181.7. passing). QB Jacob Guidry is out after suffering a neck injury last week. Justin Lynn could be in line for the start as he threw for 168 yards and a TD in relief last week. Lynn has passed for 224 yards in three games while Dylan VanBoxel is 21-for-48 for 205yards with 1 TD and 3 interceptions. Israel Lozoya is coming off a 110-yard rushing game and he has a team-high 132 yards (8.8 average) and 3 TDs for the season. He also has a TD reception. Cameron Green leads the Yellowjackets with with 12 catches (13.3 averaged, 1 TD) while Severyn Foster has 9 catches (17.3 average) and a TD grab each of the past two weeks. LB Ken Bohnenkamp has 23 tackles and DB Keshon Williams has 17 tackles. Prentiss Sayeweh has a team-best 2.5 sacks.
