Notes: Mayo coach Tom Senne liked what he saw in the nightcap. “We played a much stronger game all around. (Will) Weick pitched well. Multiple players had a strong game at the plate. Mayo turned a triple play in the bottom of the fourth (line out to second base, stepped on second and threw to first).
