Five Rochester Community and Technical College players scored in double figures and the Yellowjackets were never significantly challenged as they rolled to a 111-70 victory against Minnesota State Community and Technical College on Wednesday at UCR Regional Sports Center.
The No. 2-ranked Yellowjackets improve to 11-0 in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference and 21-3 overall. RCTC has now won 25 consecutive MCAC games.
"It was a good win, a good crowd, a fun night for our guys," RCTC coach Brian LaPlante said.
Rico Gunn paced the Yellowjackets with 21 points. Lavar McCullough added 20 points and nine rebounds, while Laurel Ladd scored 15 points, Robert Claypool had 13 points and Chuck Robinson had a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Robert Ben had 10 rebounds and Cory Speer added four assists and four steals.

RCTC shot 52 percent from the floor, made 11 of 23 3-point attempts, was 12 of 18 at the free-throw line and outrebounded MSCTC 55-29. RCTC also forced 24 turnovers and limited MSCTC to 37 percent shooting from the field.
RCTC has just three regular-season games remaining.
It plays its final home game of the regular season at 3 p.m. Saturday against perhaps the toughest opponent it will face in MCAC play, Anoka-Ramsey. RCTC won the first meeting between the teams on Jan. 22, 105-99, at Anoka-Ramsey.
The MCAC state tournament begins Feb. 28.
