MINNEAPOLIS — Maya Moore scored 22 points and the Minnesota Lynx opened the fourth quarter with a big run to put away the Phoenix Mercury in a 90-73 victory on Tuesday night.

Minnesota led by five after three quarters and began the final period with a 14-2 surge.

Seimone Augustus finished with 21 points for the Western Conference-leading Lynx (14-4), who have won seven straight games.

Diana Taurasi had 20 points for Phoenix despite being plagued by foul trouble much of the night.

The Mercury (11-8), who have dropped three of four, played without starting center Kara Braxton, who missed the trip to Minnesota while attending to a family matter.
