Nelson leads Hounds to lopsided win

Runs were scored in abundance by the Austin Greyhounds in Saturday night's 13-1 pounding of the Rosemount Black Sox at Seltz Field.

Nels Nelson pitched all five innings for the Hounds and picked up the win. Nelson also hit a three-run homer in the fourth inning. The Black Sox had played the Austin Blue Sox in a game prior to their loss to the Hounds.

Steve Serratore led the potent Hounds offense with three hits, including a triple, and two runs scored. Nelson, Tyler Leopold, Matt Raso, and John Frein each added two hits in the home win.

Austin Greyhounds (4-4) are on the road Wednesday night for a game against the Owatonna Aces at Dartts Park.
