MANKATO — The Austin High volleyball team lost all three games to Mankato West on Thursday night.
Despite taking a 3-0 loss in the Big Nine Conference match, the visiting Austin Packers were competitive on the night. Mankato West won by scores of 25-18, 25-16, and 25-22.
This was the first conference win of the season for the West Scarlets (5-7 overall, 1-3 Big Nine). Still, the visitors had some highlights as Jocelyn Sheehan hit seven service aces on the night.
Alex Hansen led the way for the Packers at the net with six kills. Jenna Svoboda had 10 set assists in the road loss.
Austin (0-10 overall, 0-4 Big Nine) travels to Rochester John Marshall for a conference match on Tuesday night.
