The Soldiers Memorial Field Women's 18-Hole Club Championship was held last Tuesday and Wednesday. Capturing the overall club championship was Diane Petersen with scores of 94 and 92 for a low gross of 186.
Winning the overall club low net was Shirley Fritz with net scores of 75 and 66 for a total of 141.
Flight winners were:
First flight — Low Gross: Gail Frey - 95/94 = 189. 1st Low Net: Char Nelson - 72/78 = 150. 2nd Low Net: Jan Kowalczyk - 80/81 = 161.
Second flight— Low Gross: Randa VanKirk - 97/96 = 193. 1st Low Net: Donna Martin - 76/71 = 147. 2nd Low Net: Betty Nerby - 75/80 = 155.

Third flight— Low Gross: Betsy Wilson - 106/98 = 204. 1st Low Net: Hazel Blume - 76/72 = 148. 2nd Low Net: Addi Muri - 75/75 = 150.
Fourth flight— Low Gross: Eddie Peterson - 115/104 = 219. 1st Low Net: Ginny Anderson - 79/74 = 153. 2nd Low Net: Loy Colebeck - 85/80 = 165.
Winter volleyball registration underway
The deadline for registration for rosters and entry fees is Oct. 1 for Rochester Park and Recreation Department winter volleyball leagues.
The fee is $325 per team, payable to the Park and Rec Department.
