Alden-Conger 61, Schaeffer Academy 60

ALDEN — Schaeffer Academy led the entire way before Alden-Conger took the lead with 1:35 left in the game and held on to win 61-60 in non-conference play.

Schaeffer, playing its season opener, had a half court shot to win at the buzzer but it was off the mark.

Evan Miller and Levi Ouren both knocked down three 3-pointers and scored 15 for Schaeffer. A-C limited Ethan VanSchepen, the Lions' top scorer last season, to six points.
