The Rockets loaded the bases with two outs after Kate Novak followed back-to-back singles from Emily Miles and Taylor Adams. That's when Dotterwick broke a 3-3 tie with the slam.

After Faribault answered with three runs in the bottom of the sixth, it was Dotterwick that provided insurance with a solo shot. When it was all said and done, Dotterwick finished 4-for-4 with five RBIs.

JM hosts Winona on Wednesday, before taking on Mayo Thursday.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
