John Marshall 83, Mankato West 73

ROCHESTER — John Marshall had six players score in double figures as the Rockets topped Mankato West 83-73 in Big Nine Conference play.

Logan Tuckner led the way with 21 points for the Rockets while Johnny Tong scored 14 points and Traevon Koch added 13. Three others scored 10 points.

JM led 35-23 at the half and ended up with a 21-7 scoring advantage at the line.

Landon Dimler scored 19 points to pace the Scarlets (10-10, 7-9 Big Nine).

JM (7-12, 6-9 Big Nine) plays at Big Nine leader Mankato East at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Byron 67, Lourdes 46

BYRON — Byron avenged a loss from earlier in the season to Lourdes by defeating the Eagles 67-46 in Hiawatha Valley League play.

Lourdes had posted a 57-55 home win over Byron on Jan. 10.

Sophomore Max Dearborn led Byron with 19 points and Tyler Connelly added 14. The Bears had a big second half as the game was tied 24-24 at the break.

Dillung Kullang led Lourdes with 12 points.

The win moves the Bears to 12-11, 6-7 in the HVL. Lourdes drops to 9-13, 4-9 in the HVL.
