ANOKA — Rochester Community and Technical College controlled things from the start on Saturday, rolling to a 3-0 sweep against Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
The Yellowjackets swept the Minnesota College Athletic Conference volleyball match, 25-19, 25-13, 25-19.
"We did a great job of coming out and setting the tempo," RCTC coach Amber Zitzow said.
The Yellowjackets (3-2 MCAC, 11-5 overall) were led by Lindsay Ayers, who had 15 assists, 10 digs and five ace serves. Chanda Riedemann added nine kills and two blocks; Taylor Aakre had eight kills and four blocks; Stephanie Russel had 10 digs and Marcy Swenson had 14 digs.
The Yellowjackets return to action on Wednesday at Riverland Community College in Austin.
