Last season:The Yellowjackets finished 9-16 and did not qualify for the MCAC state playoffs.
Season outlook:The Yellowjackets have good experience back from a year ago as seven sophomores return. RCTC is without top scorer and rebounder from a year ago, however, 6-1 center Rachel Doll, who was a freshman last season. RCTC featured a young squad a year ago with just two sophomores. Coach Steve Hucke is looking at a more balanced attack and figures that will help the team compete for a postseason berth. Center Jenna Ness and and Danielle Adams were solid scorers a year ago. Other sophomores back include guards Allison Radke and Courtney Hlavka, forward Audra Durhman and forward/centers Jessica Brubaker and Liz Norman.
"We will be better both offensively and defensively," Hucke said. "We will have experience this year which will help us and feel that we can compete for a regional bid."
