Ian Reid-Hathaway was the lone Rochester boy or girl to make the first-team Class AA all-state soccer team.
Hathaway, a senior sweeper for Mayo, helped the Spartans get to the state tournament. That’s where they just missed against No. 1-ranked Eastview, falling 2-1 to the Lightning in the quarterfinals.
Reid-Hathaway was one of six defenders to make the all-state team.
Rochester had a pair of girls make honorable mention all-state. Senior John Marshall attacker Christina Block made it, as did Century senior midfielder Cori Praska.
