AUSTIN — The Austin Blue Sox completed a sweep for the week of the Rochester Roadrunners on Friday night at Seltz Field.
After beating the Roadrunners in Rochester earlier in the week for their first win of the season, the Blue Sox won 5-1 Friday.
This was a scoreless game through the first six innings. Then, the visiting Roadrunners scored an unearned run in the top of the seventh to take a 1-0 lead. That was the only run they got off Blue Sox pitcher Brady Klingfus, who went the distance on the mound.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, the Blue Sox scored all five of their runs, with help of two Roadrunners errors.
