"This was a very impressive win," Rockets coach Bob Montrose said. "Jefferson is a very good team. We watched them play Dodge County early in the season and they have really improved since then. Our girls are playing very well right now and that showed tonight."

Montrose was impressed with Freiburger.

"She plays the game with a lot of grit and skill and that combination puts her among a select group of players in the state," he said. "Her and Renee Saltness have been an outstanding offensive duo for us so far."

It was JM/Lourdes' fifth shutout win in 12 games.

The Rockets host Northfield at 5:30 p.m Thursday at Graham Arena.
