The Rockets outshot West 42-25. JM/Lourdes goalie Erin Meyer finished with 22 saves.
"As expected, the girls played much better in front of Erin Meyer," Russell said "The entire team played well, even though it was the line of Bruesewitz, Macken and Savannah Seeger accounting for all of the scoring."
The Rockets return to action at 5:30 p.m. Friday at home against Highland Park.
