Rochester Century scored seven runs in the top of the fourth inning and beat La Crosse Logan 10-8 in a non-conference baseball game Thursday at Century.

Century smacked out 12 hits, which compensated for the team's six errors in the field, and the Panthers improved to 5-3 overall. La Crosse Logan is 5-5.

Defense was not the theme for the night," said Century head coach JD Bickle. "On the bright side we found our bats as we pounded out 12 hits to hold on for the win."

Jacob Fletcher doubled, homered and drove in two runs for Century. Winning pitcher Luke McKeon pitched six innings for the win.

Century plays a doubleheader Friday at Faribault.
