Seventh-grader Dana Rasmussen scored three goals and one assist to lead Dodge County past John Marshall/Lourdes 5-1 in non-conference girls hockey on Saturday at the Rec Center.
Katie Armstrong scored a goal for JM/L, assisted by Megan Dekutoski, in the first period to tie the game at 1-1. Dodge County snapped the tie with a goal late in the second period and then scored three times in the third to put the game away.
"They just sort of took it to us in the third period," JM/L coach Steve Russell said. "They have a good, young team."
Darby Dodds and Maddi Tibben also had goals for Dodge County (14-10) while Kortney Kleber collected two assists.
"It was a close game," Dodge County coach Jeremy Gunderson said. "Our girls were just able to finish their chances around the net."

Dodge County held a 29-12 shot advantage. Freshman Anna Hunter had 11 saves to collect the win for Dodge County. Mia Bruesewitz had 24 saves for JM/L.
JM/L (6-17 overall) hosts Winona on Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Rec Center.
