Lourdes 5, Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa 0

Junior Nikki Lindeen tallied two goals and top-seeded Lourdes shut down No. 4 Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa 5-0 in the Section 2A semifinals on Saturday.

"We played well," Lourdes coach Sarah Groven said. "PIZM has a really tough defense and we had some trouble with them in the first half. Once we settled down for the second half we were able to capitalize on a few breakaways, but their defense was pretty solid."

Amelia Gossman had a goal and two assists for the Eagles and Addison Lange collected two saves for the shutout.
