HAYFIELD — Grace Mindrup had two hits and two RBIs for Hayfield, including a bases-loaded winning hit in the bottom of the eighth as the Vikings beat Rochester Lourdes 7-6 in Hiawatha Valley League softball Thursday.
Hayfield's Jessie Foster had four hits and two RBIs and Dani Wagner went 2-for-2
Hayfield jumped to a 3-0 first-inning lead. Lourdes went on top in the fifth inning with five runs. Hayfield had two runs in the fourth and one each in the sixth and eighth innings.
Georgianne Younger and Grace Rogers added two hits apiece, including a home run each.
