Rochester Lourdes got a feel-good win Tuesday, beating Hayfield 3-2 on Senior Night in Hiawatha Valley League volleyball.
Lourdes won 22-25, 19-25, 25-17, 25-22, 15-11.
"Tonight was a special night for our team," Lourdes coach Ryan Freidhoff said. "We were celebrating our seniors and all that they have brought to our program. Any time you can win a match on a night like that it brings a huge boost to your team. To win in five makes it that much more exciting. Hopefully we can carry this momentum through the rest of the season."
Gabby Williams had 23 kills and 18 digs for Lourdes. Katelyn Younger had five kills, 43 assist and 23 digs.
Hayfield was led by Maggie Streightiff with 15 kills, 16 assists, 10 digs and four aces.

Lourdes is 3-6 in the HVL, 9-11 overall. Hayfield is 4-5, 13-7.
