COON RAPIDS — Rochester Community and Technical College women's basketball team boosted its win string to six on Friday, then had it ended by a Division I foe on Saturday.
RCTC had no trouble getting it done Saturday as it blasted Fond du Lac Tribal 75-49 in its second game of the Anoka-Ramsey Classic.
The Yellowjackets led 43-15 at halftime as it put the game away in a hurry.
Johanna Bungum led RCTC with 12 points. She hit 5 of 10 shots from the field, including a 3-pointer. She also grabbed six rebounds, had six assists and four steals.
Justine Gonzalez came off the bench to score 11 points and fellow reserve Lakin Koski had 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting. Koski added five rebounds.

Guard Jessie Foster came up big defensively with six steals. She also dished out five assists.
RCTC had just 17 turnovers, compared to 29 from Fond du Lac Tribal. RCTC shot 43 percent from the field, Fond du Lac Tribal just 24 percent.
• On Saturday, Bismarck turned back Rochester 101-82, making 17 of 46 three-point attempts (to 6-for-20 for RCTC).
"I thought we played well," RCTC coach Steve Hucke said. "They're a great shooting team. We defended the shots well, they just made them."
Nathalie Ratliff led Rochester with 16 points, four assists and four rebounds. Victoria Asplund had 14 points and eight rebounds Bungum scored 17 points and Gonzalez 13. Reed Klunder contrbuted 11 points, including 3-for-7 three-point shooting.
As an NJCAA Division I program, Bismarck can offer athletic scholarships. Division III schools like RCTC cannot.
RCTC (6-6) doesn't play again until Jan. 2 when it travels to play North Dakota State College of Science at Coon Rapids in the Anoka-Ramsey Tournament at 1 p.m.
