A drug dealer who sold heroin to a man — who overdosed and died less than two hours later at a Rochester halfway house — did play a role in the man’s death, the Minnesota Court of Appeals said this week.

Quentin Townsell, 30, was arrested early Wednesday after the hours-long assault that left the 28-year-old woman with injuries all over her body, according to Interim Rochester Police Chief John Sherwin.
