Theresa "Terry" Mary Barnes, 79, of Chandler, Ariz, was welcomed into heaven by the open arms of her Savior, Monday, Nov. 7, 2011.
Terry is survived by her loving husband, William, of 55 years and by her two sons, Patrick (Laura) and Michael; three grandsons, Ryan, Jared and Logan; a brother, Stanley (Janice) Czaplewski; a sister, Kathleen (Richard) Kinzer; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Barnes Schultz.
After receiving her baccalaureate degree in nursing, Terry worked at Saint Marys Hospital for over 40 years as a teacher, nurse, and a nursing services administrator.
She enjoyed volunteering at her children’s schools, St. Francis of Assisi Church in Rochester and St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Chandler, Ariz., the United Way, Chandler library and many other places.
A vigil will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 10 a.m. with a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Faith Community, 3450 W. Ray Road in Chandler, Ariz., with a reception to follow.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Rochester, with a vigil at 12:30 p.m. and Mass at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Poverello Foundation (patients who cannot afford healthcare), Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.
