Beverly Jean Ohly, 89, died Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at her home due to heart failure.
Bev was born Oct. 12, 1929, to Joseph and Gladys DeGuise in Excelsior.
She married Louis Ohly on Jan. 15, 1949, in Minneapolis. Bev worked with her husband at Ohly Law Office in Rochester from 1971 until her retirement. Bev enjoyed many trips to the cabin Up North and her visits to the North Shore. She loved spending time with all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and always had a long Christmas list.
She is survived by her husband, Louis; her children, Ann Marie Ohly, Catherine T. (Tuck) Nichols, Margaret E. (Warren) Aldridge, Louis M. Jr (Judy) Ohly, Paul M. (Gail) Ohly, Patricia K. Ohly, Jean L. Herbert, Steve J. Ohly, Barbara C. (Tod) Vantrease, John D. (Cindy) Ohly, James C. (Kim) Ohly, Robert T. (Heather) Ohly, and Mary A. Anderson; brother, Joseph DeGuise; 33 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; sibling, Richard DeGuise; son, Michael Ohly; and son-in-law, James Anderson.
The family prefers memorials to Laura League Childrens Cancer Research Fund.
A Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Rochester, with Rev. Charles Collins officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Rochester.
